TEA LOUNGE'S FIRST WEEK
EAST GRINSTEAD IN BLOOM and FRENCH MARKET
All these events occurred on Saturday 18th July. What started off as a beautiful sunny summers day turned into a rainstorm by late afternoon. The sun brought out a large number of visitors and town residents to the town to visit the Summer French Market and entertainment laid on in London Road. The Tea lounge had a great day with many of the visitors coming in for a rest from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a cup of tea. The town looked spendid with the large number of Hanging Baskets and Flower beds in full bloom. A great time was had by all until the rain came down with a vengance about 4pm.

The Tea Lounge now is now 4 days old and is starting to prove popular with all the towns visitors. In this short period of time we have had guests from as far away as Auckland NZ, Austrailia, Germany and the USA to highlight just a few. Many of the towns residents are starting to
realise that we are there and open from 10am to 4pm each day except Mondays.
The most popular teas this week seem to be, Earl Grey, English Breakfast, and Green Teas, with many of the guests then sampling the range of other teas we have on offer. It has been encouraging to witness the surprise of delight on many of their faces when tasting one of our teas for the first time.
As you would expect our Cream Teas, Cakes, Sandwiches, Desserts and Light Lunches are very popular. All in all it has been a good first four days and we will be looking to build on this in the following weeks. Why not pop in and see us and relax with a nice pot of Tea (or Coffee).
See you soon. MORE IMAGES
